A NIGHT OF SEEING DOUBLE

The first of Variety's stars is the famous Rick Wakeman, renowned for his days as keyboard player with the world famous band Yes, also known as one of the 'Grumpy Men' and famed for his individual albums, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, The Six Wives of Henry VIII. Rick will be appearing with his one man comedy and piano show at the Variety Club of Jersey Tent 52 Annual Banquet and Ball.

The second of our stars, for the first time in Jersey from the Ukraine, will be Double Fantasy, a remarkable speciality act that words cannot describe.

"Double Fantasy" is one of most popular and unusual acts in the Ukraine. They have amazed thousands of people in a different countries of the world in stage shows and on TV. Vitali and Helena Gorbachevski created a new style of perfomance, named "body manipulation".

They have won many awards, such as the "International Grand Prix of Monte Carlo", "Grand Prix of Ukranian Circus and Variete Competition", and many other trophies in Russia.

Vitali is a teacher in the Kiev Circus and Variete Academy. His students are young talented artists, who will no doubt become as famous as Vitali.

The theme of the ball will be Journey to the Centre of the Earth, based on Rick's chart topping album which promises to be a wonderful evening.
